Through a combination of mods and scripts you will bring your game to life and add new features you couldn't bare to live without such as simple scripts to control your trade ships automatically so you don't spend hours micromanaging them or scripts that fix the turret systems on your 30 gun capital ship so that it prioritises sensible targets and lays waste to your enemies. Of course I am going to list far more juicy mods and scripts to add to spice your game up than simple fixes. You wouldn't know these were a problem until you played the game. The full changelog is available on the official forums. Some of the improvements made have come as a side-effect of the efforts on the VR Edition that Egosoft is still working on. As usual, Egosoft also improved performance here and there and squashed some crash bugs. In particular, capital ship movement and general AI flight behaviour has been improved in specific situations, and some UI tweaks including adding ammunition information to the detail menus for ships and stations have been made.

As before, patches contain multiple improvements, new features, UI additions and performance tweaks. Beta testing is over and new patches have been deployed for the most popular X games in the series.
